Beach Day

To escape the heat, we headed to the water last week!  It was about 30 degrees cooler when you travel 45 minutes west.  A fun trip!

Cameron practice driving

Cameron did some practice driving with Derrik last weekend.  They went to empty parking lots and let him practice in the van.  He did pretty well!  He did mention that it is a lot harder than it looks.

6th Grade Promotion

Ashton and his classmates had a great promotion ceremony!  I directed the singing from the back.  It was special day and we're so happy he's done!

Parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary

Mom and Dad Hubbard celebrated 50 years of marriage last weekend!  We threw them a great party filled with friends and lots of memories.  The highlight might have been the video with old photos and portions of audio from their wedding ceremony!  We loved celebrating with them!

Kickball Game

Last Friday was the annual 6th grade student vs parent kickball game!  Derrik came out to play and Cameron and I took photos and cheered.  The kids won by 2 points!

Cameron's Last Day

Cameron has officially finished his last day of his freshman year!  He had such a great year but is so happy to be finished.  Two kids done with school, one done in 5 more days!

Dance Festival

SCElementary had it's yearly dance festival this week and Ashton and the 6th graders did an awesome job!  I added a short video from their practice the day before.
