Anniversary #23

Derrik and I went to dinner to celebrate anniversary #23!  We have tickets to go and see the Piano Guys but not until January. 

Dog-Sitting Alfred

We had an extra house guest for a few days after Christmas - Alfred!  Our friends from church were heading out of town for a few days and asked if we could take care of their dog, Alfred.  It was interesting to have an extra dog around.  Sadie thought it was great for awhile and then wondered if this was permanent. 

Christmas Day with the Grandparents

Christmas afternoon, we went over to the Grandparents for a celebration with them!  They loved the calendar we made for them.  The highlight was finally seeing Grandma's completed memoirs!

Christmas Day

The boys agreed on a later wake up time but Ashton and Cameron couldn't sleep!  Ethan could, though!  They waited patiently for their brother and I used the time to make monkey bread and just enjoy the calm before the unwrapping.

Ashton did a great job doing the calendar again this year!

Christmas Eve

We went to our Christmas Eve services at church and then came home for fondue with the grandparents and opening pajamas.  This year also included a jam session!

Sunrise Senior Living Caroling Event

I jumped at the chance to do another caroling event at our local senior living center.  The residents seemed grateful for some holiday music!  Dad Hubbard came as well.  We had fun!

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker

We went as a family to see the new Star Wars movie and enjoyed it!

SCE Holiday Show

I pulled off another holiday show at SCE this year.  Lots of work but always worth it.  I was also able to hire Ethan to help me with the sound again!

We had another round of family photos done this year.  Lots of fun to see how the boys have changed!

Grace Baptist Christmas Concerts

We attended our yearly Christmas concert at church on Friday night.  Cameron was camera directing, so he's been working extra hours to make sure the concerts are perfect!  As always, it was a beautiful service!  I included one video off youtube.

Caroling with Gracie

I had the opportunity to sing with carolers this week to honor the memory of Gracie Muehlberger, one of the students killed in the Saugus shooting.  Her mother organized the community to come together and sing for canned goods to donate to district families in need this season.  I wasn't able to get my family there, but I was able to get one of my choir students to come!  A news crew followed us around as we caroled and at one point, got really close to me.  Yikes!  It was a fun night!  I included a link to the news spot at the end.
