New Years Eve

For New Years Eve, we invited the Grandparents over to play games and enjoy another round of cheese fondue and chocolate fondue.  Ethan even got in on the fun after he got off work!  We made it to midnight and are ready for a new year.

Anniversary #25

Derrik and I celebrated 25 years on 12/28/21!  I ordered us a pretty ornament and got roses.  I even tried on my wedding dress!  We celebrated with a lovely dinner out and are looking forward to our Maui trip!

Christmas Day

 

Presents, presents and more presents!  We enjoyed a fun day of monkey bread, enjoying our presents and took a trip to see Christmas lights.

Christmas Eve

Our Christmas Eve kicked off with a cheese fondue lunch and steak lunch and a round of presents.  Then we headed off to the Christmas Eve service.  Cameron had to work at the church service and following the service, Ethan had to go to work.  Before he left, I presented them with the blankets I tied for each of them.

Early Christmas

With everyone's crazy holiday work schedule we had an early Christmas and the boys opened their pajamas and slippers/socks early!  Another year for the matching pajamas!

Still, Still, Still Performance

 We were asked to perform at the XYZ group at church.  We redid the number "Still Still Still" from Dad Hubbard's album.  Derrik played on the keyboard, Ethan on bass and singing, Cameron on the clarinet, Ashton on drums, Dad Hubbard on euphonium and singing, I sang and another musician, OD Hall, played the piano.  It was fun to be all on stage together and bringing some Christmas music to others.

 Cameron had a friend take some photos of him last week and shared some of his favorites with me!

 Derrik and his Dad both had an opportunity to share the stage at church this past weekend!  Dad played his euphonium and Derrik played the synth.  It was fun to see them up there together!

A Job for Ashton!

 Ashton got placed at Rite Aid through his work prep class!  He had to go through an interview and works 9 hours per week stocking items on the shelves.  He really enjoys it!  Great experience for him!

 We're giving our fake tree one more year and found time for the boys to do their traditional decorating!
