Real Live Christmas Tree!

We decided this year to get a real, live Christmas tree!  After choosing it and loading it on the car, we had the boys help us move it into the house.  It smells lovely!

Thanksgiving

 We had a quiet Thanksgiving at the Grandparents while Derrik's dad was still recovering from surgery.  It was very relaxing and delicious!

In other news, our car's computer stayed
on while we were inside and the boys had
to push it to get it into a space where it could
be jumped.

Ojai Getaway

 Derrik and I slipped away to the city of Ojai for a getaway for the weekend.  We did some planning and relaxed after the busy month of November!

4A Championships - Valencia High School, Placentia, CA

Blue nails - check.  Car windows decorated - check.  Cheering squad in the car - check.  We're ready for Championships!  We had a great last run of the show and the band and guard ranked 7th out of 14 bands!  We're so proud of how the season went and happy that we got to go along for the ride one more time!

Dad Hubbard's Hip Surgery

 Dad Hubbard has been patiently waiting for the right timing to get his left hip replaced.  He's been in a lot of pain.  He was finally able to have it done the week of Championships!  We stopped at the hospital before we headed to there to see him before he was discharged.  He's moving around better each day since!

New haircut for Ethan

 After growing it for about two years, Ethan was ready for a cut!  Love the transformation!!

Cameron's Associates Degree

Cameron received his Associates degree certificate in the mail this week!  It's official!!
