Gilchrist Farms Performance

The band performed at Gilchrist Farms today despite the fires in the area.  They played their field show and entertained families that came out to shop for pumpkins and watch pig races.  :)  Derrik and I worked at the bake sale. 
It was a fun day!

Cameron on "The Spot"

Since Cameron is on the team of paid technical directors at church, he volunteered to do the announcement video at youth group this week!  He did great!

Competition #2: Quartz Hill Rebel Rouser

Saugus had another strong performance at the Quartz Hill competition!  We scored 72.6 and with each performance, we get an audio of judges notes with ways to improve.  This was a smaller competition and we won Sweepstakes (best overall) in high music and visual effect!  Yay!

Competition #1: West Ranch Wildcat Classic

We had a great showing at our first competition!  The band scored a 72.5!  We were the only 4A
band there that could place so we won the 1st place trophy.  It was a great night!

Drum Lesson Warm-up

I caught a bit of Ashton's lesson with Bobby and loved this little warm-up they played together!  Sweet!

Sounds of the Stadium

Since the band plays in the stand during football games, we don't typically hear all of the pep tunes they have prepared.  We do hear bits and pieces of it during time outs, but they have much more prepared that we don't hear.  At Sounds of the Stadium, the band plays pep tunes and the field show.  The whole show is in the last video I uploaded.

Family Outing

With our busy schedules, we opted to stay home for our day off this week.  We did take a trip to the mall and I got some photos.
