Project Linus Blankets

I created another round of blankets for Project Linus!  I sure love creating these and knowing they're a blessing to someone else.

Cameron to Atlanta!

Cameron got bit by an adventure bug and decided to attend a concert by his favorite artist (Chris Renzema) in Atlanta.  He brought along his friend, Colin.  After getting there, the artist cancelled the show because he lost his voice!  Cameron was bummed but he and Colin used their time well by visiting a friend who attends college nearby and then going to different concert.  He had a great time and was home 24 hours later, exhausted!  

2nd Football Game: Band Alumni Night

Cameron came to the Alumni night for the band!  It was also the first night the band was in uniform.  Looking good! 

Switchfoot and NeedtoBreathe at the Greek Theater in LA

 

We've waited months to finally see Switchfoot and Need to Breathe in concert!  It was a late night but so worth it!

Drumline Bakesale Fundraiser

 Ashton and the drumline played outside the grocery store to sell baked goods to raise money for the band and colorguard.  It was a hot day, but the kids played and earned $2,000!  The kids even switched around and played different drums.  It was a fun day!

In-Person Music!

 

I've started traveling to schools to do Music!  I visit a different school in the district each week, seeing a different grade each day (TK-1).  It's going pretty well!  There's nothing like making music and singing with kids!

Derrik joins Worship Team at Church!

For the first time since March of 2004, Derrik is on a worship team!  Today, he was on synth and had such a great time playing. 

 

The Band is Back - 1st Football Game

 

We attended our first high school football game since October 2019!  And the Band was there and played in the stands.  It was a special night!  Ashton marched with his drum for the first time.
