Valencia Competition: October 23, 2021

 First Competition at Valencia High School:

Placed 3rd in 4A Division - 72.29

Percussion tied for 4th/5th place overall

Color Guard placed 3rd overall

Sounds of the Stadium and Awards

 The Saugus Marching Band and Colorguard held a concert to share some of their "stand tunes" and play the field show.  They're off to a great start!  A highlight was Cameron finally getting his senior awards from 2020 and Ashton getting his freshman letter and sophomore pin.  

Sounds of Conejo Exhibition

And so it begins!  The marching band season is taking off!  Hang on for lots of pictures,videos and moments.  It's going to get crazy!

This event was the Sounds of Conejo Exhibition in Thousand Oaks, CA.  No judging at this event but a chance for all bands to perform their show and get some extra practice in under the lights.   The event ended with all the bands on the field together at the end.  I included a video of their rehearsal.

Worship Team Together

Derrik and I served on the worship team together for the first time since 2004!  Wha?  It sure is fun to get back to it.  We have been scheduled together a few times and we sure enjoy serving side by side.
