Piano Guys at the Microsoft Theater

We got to use our anniversary gift and go see the Piano Guys in concert.  It was a great show!

Mini Hike at Elsmere Canyon

We were able to all go on a quick hike in Elsmere Canyon today.  It was short, but good to get some fresh air and be together.  Sadie, the wanna-be hiking dog, also came along. 

 

New Kitchen Lighting

We finally got one of our home improvement projects done!  We've been needing to put lights over our kitchen table for awhile.  With Dad Hubbard's help, we got it done!  We love it and can now see each other better at dinner.  :)

Ashton's 15th Birthday!

Ashton had a great birthday!  It's hard to believe he's 15.  This past year he: started high school, joined the marching band, started attending a monthly gaming tournament, grew taller than me and continues to amaze us with his kindness and all-around awesomeness!  Our day of fun included pancakes, In-and-Out for lunch and Spaghetti and Meatballs (he requested that I make a double batch, so he could have extra), lots of presents and even a viewing of him beating the same "boss" three times in a row in his video game!  He had a great day!

Ethan Performance at Saugus Benefit Concert

Ethan was asked to perform one of his songs at a Saugus beneft last night!  He did so well - back story - one of his friend's dad (yes, the one that works for Ringo Starr) put together a concert to support the families affected by the Saugus shooting in November.  He invited Ethan to perform one of his songs at the concert!  Also performing in an all-star band were Steve Lukather (guitarist from the band, Toto), Colin Hay (vocalist from Men at Work), Greg Bissonette (drummer from David Lee Roth and), Warren Ham (vocalist and sax player from the Ringo Starr band), Amy Keys (singer), Jeff Babko (keyboard player), Mick Mahan (bassist for Pat Benatar) and Richard Marx!  Ethan
did great and we were so proud of him!

We found some SNOW!

Higher elevations have gotten snow!  We took an drive to find it and ended up in Wrightwood, were we found most of California, playing in the snow.  The boys got out and had a blast walking in it, throwing it, jumping in it!  Now, back to real California weather.....

New Years Puzzles

I ordered photo puzzles to be made for each of the boys for Christmas.  They picked the photo they wanted hung in their rooms.  They didn't arrive in time for Christmas, so they ended up being New Years presents!  Cameron and Ashton put theirs together on New Year Eve, and Ethan did his a day or so later.
