Cookie Bakers

The boys and I made cookies with Grandma today to donate to the church for VBS next week.  Everyone had a job and we got all 50 bags filled fast! 

Ethan's Show

The band that Ethan plays with did a show last weekend and Ethan got to perform a few of his own songs!  We didn't end up going but I got a few pictures of it!

Father's Day 2018

Father's Day this year started with a fun lunch out with the parents, going to a movie to see Incredibles 2 and a photo viewing on Derrik's new digital picture frame!  We're sure grateful for our dads!

Promotion 2018

Promotion 2018 went well!  The 6th graders are off to junior high and the school year at SCE ends.  Cameron was my assistant and helped with lots of little details to help get me out of there sooner.   Bring on the summer!

Closing down the Music room

Cameron and Ashton helped me close out my classroom at SCE!  They did some sorting, filing, taking things off the walls and packing up materials for storage.  So nice to have their help!

Practical Art Summer School

Cameron is taking his Practical Art this summer at a charter high school.  He's taking "Independent Living" and has to read the "7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens" and even has to make a pillow for the class!  Of course, our registration time was right after I'd taught for 3 hours.....here are our faces as we did more online registration!

Can we hurry this up a bit?  :P

Trinity Parent Showcase

I completed my first year of teaching at Trinity Classical Academy today!  We held a Parent Showcase where parents come watch an hour long performance of some of the songs, dances and other music activities we've been working on in class.  I'm thrilled to have one school done!

High School and Junior High OUT for Summer!

Cameron and Ashton finished off their spring semesters on Thursday and are ready for summer!  I still have this week left....booo...but then we can all be on summer break together!  Yeah for summer and small gifts for hard work!
