Hosting Clarinet Summer Sectionals

We hosted a summer sectional for the clarinets on Saturday morning!  They have the music for the first movement of the field show and are getting together twice a week to learn it.  The section gained two new freshman and they spend time teaching them the ropes.  Since Cameron is a senior *what*, we held one at our house.  They got in some good practice and even did some marching outside.

Summer Adventure 2019

Cameron, Ashton and I worked at Summer Adventure (VBS) at our church this week!  Cameron worked in both outdoor recreation and also helped with tech at the large assemblies.  Ashton and I served in crafts again this year.  We had such a great week!

Ethan's Concert

Ethan played a concert with some of his band friends on Friday.  He played a set of his music with his Full Safari band members, and also played bass for them.  I'm waiting for more videos to share but here's what I have now!

Baking Cookies for VBS/Summer Adventure!

We made our yearly cookies for VBS with Grandma today!  She was kind enough to lend us her kitchen and we made 100 cookies to share with kids this coming week!

Father's Day

Derrik's Half Marathon

Derrik has been training for months to run a half marathon!  And today, he did it!  We're so proud of him!  I attached the video of him crossing the finish line.

Wrapping up SCE

I've officially wrapped up my school year!  Hurray!  I snapped a few pics of the Music pics in the yearbook.  Promotion happened this morning and it went great!  Summer is officially HERE!

Cameron went in to get his yearbook picture taken this week!  It's starting to get real!  He's also enjoying contact lenses now.  Looking so grown up!

11th grade and 8th grade are in the books!  Next up, 12th grade and 9th grade.  Both boys at the same school!  They each earned an end-of-the-year gift.  Ashton got a new video game for his DS and Cameron wanted to go clothes shopping.  They're ready for summer!
