Simi Valley Competition - Simi Valley, CA

Marching Centurions earned a 76.9 at Simi Valley High School on Saturday.  This is our highest score yet and we hope to just get better!  Another road trip and fun memories along the way...

Last Football Game

 It was Saugus' last home game and our band played at their last game for the season.  Our competition season is taking off and I'm always glad that football season is over.  This one was different - it was our very last game.

I assisted the band for their professional photos this last week!  This means having the ordering envelopes and pens handy, making sure everyone has all the pieces of their uniforms and wrangling students!

West Ranch Competition - Wildcat Classic, Valencia High School

 We scored a 66.9 at the Wildcat Classic Tournament in Valencia this weekend.  We earned a trophy for several things, which is fun!  This is a local comp for us and while we never score high, it's an opportunity to clean up the show for our future tournaments.

Ethan at SCVTV

 Ethan is currently doing an internship for his associates degree at our local TV station, SCVTV.  He's working with the show "Community Corner" and is learning a lot and hoping to catch their eye for a job after this semester!  Here are some photos he's sent us:

Derrik Runs a Half

 Derrik ran his second half marathon today!  He ran one back in June of 2019 and has been training and preparing for the day he could try again.  He shaved 10 minutes off his first time! 

 

1st Competition of the Season - Royal Classic Field Tournament, Simi Valley, CA

We scored a 65.9 at the first competition of the season at the Royal Classic Tournament.  Not a bad start but we've got work to do to improve our scores.
