Church for Staff Families

Because Cameron is on staff at our church, we were invited along with other families to attend church on campus.  We were all seated far apart and wore masks.  It was nice to be back "in" church!  The county has required there to be less than 100 people on campus at one time, so the church has some planning to do before they can open up completely.  For the time being, we'll keep watching online.

KHTS AM Radio Video Tribute to Seniors 2020

So months ago, I submitted Cameron's name to the radio station.  I don't remember doing it exactly, but I guess I did!  They released a video today!  It only includes about 100 of the 587 graduating seniors but it's kind of fun!  Cameron is featured at 1:20.

Ashton Audition for Drumline

Ashton's been doing lessons weekly through the school year, working on his skills to advance in the marching band.  His hard work has really paid off!  This week he turned in audition videos for a bass drum position.  Fingers crossed!

Graduation Photo Shoot

Cameron asked if we could arrange to have our friend Angelica take some photos of him and his friends.  It was so fun to see these young men having fun together after all they've been through this year.  They made a great memory together!

More Yard Signs

Cameron got two new graduation yard signs!  He's a real celebrity on the street!  One sign came from the high school and the other came from church.  Our yard is full!

Textbook Drop Off and Last Days All Around

The school was decorated with lots of signs

Cameron and Ashton had textbook drop off this week.  Cameron also picked up his tassel, senior medal and other goodies.  Both boys got their yearbooks.  With that, we've officially finished classes and can gear up for graduation next week!

Patio Work

After redoing the seating outside, we got inspire to do a few other things to make the outside space more enjoyable this summer.  Mom Hubbard kindly agreed to sand and stain our glider bench (that we realized we've owned since before Cameron was born) and give it some love.  Derrik hung some more lights above the table.  Lastly, we installed a new doggy door for Sadie to go in and out.  It's looking good!

Cameron Done with Classes

Cameron pushed "SEND" on his last paper for high school!  He's all done!  Yay!

Hall Bathroom Makeover!

We used some of our free time over the weekend to paint the hall bathroom!  It's a small space and really needed some love.  I also did some redecorating and bought a new cabinet to hold the boys things.  It looks so much better!

Thunderbird Flyover

The U.S. Air Force Demonstration Squadron did a flyover to honor healthcare workers, first responders, and other essential personal during the COVID-19 pandamic.  We heard them clearly but were able to find a few photos and video off Facebook.  Pretty cool!

Last Week of Music Videos

I've successfully recorded six weeks of videos for my students and have finished my Music semester.  I still have 6th grade promotion to work on (and recruiting Cameron to help me) but I am done with weekly lessons!  Yay!

Another Senior Tribute

Tired of senior tributes yet?  We're getting there but it is fun!  This week we put a poster up on the fence near the high school to honor Saugus seniors.

Cameron Coffee Treat

Cameron treated me to a drive in his new car and a belated birthday coffee!
