 Derrik and I had a great time celebrating Don and Suzanne in Vernon!  We helped get things set up, took photos and did whatever we could do to help.  It was so much fun!  Stay tuned for the video.....

Cameron Camera Directing

 Cameron worked during VBS this week as camera director.  We came to watch and I was able to get some photos of him in action.  Looks pretty professional to me!

Ethan New Car

 Ethan finally found a car to purchase!  He's now the owner of a pretty red 2010 Honda Civic Coupe.  He got it for a good price and now has a car for his delivery jobs.  Yay!

CD Release and Newspaper Article

Dad Hubbard's CD is officially here!  The shipment of CDs has arrived, we've celebrated and even got to do an interview with the newspaper that was featured on the front page of the Sunday magazine!  I'll include the official youtube playlist if you'd like to listen to it.  

Dad Hubbard plays his euphonium and sings, I sing, Derrik plays keyboard on one song, Ethan plays bass and did all the mixing and producing, Cameron plays clarinet and did photo work for the album and getting the album on youtube, and Ashton played drums on one piece.  Mom Hubbard wrote out Jim's life story that is included in the cd booklet.  It was a really special project!

Cameron Seattle Trip

 Cameron had a blast hanging out with the Gustafson boys for a few days!  Quality cousin time!

Ashton Percussion Pool Party

 Ashton auditioned for a place in the drumline this fall and made bass drum again!  We're excited for him to have an opportunity to actually march this coming year.  All the percussion kids gathered for a pool party to celebrate!

Visiting Rollo

 We took a trip to see Rollo who is currently in hospice at his son, Brian's house.  He is unresponsive now but will occasionally open his eyes and grab hands of those around him.  Sister Sonja came from Kansas and the family gathered around to sing to him.  It was a sweet time.

Ethan Band Concert

 Ethan and his band performed a live concert last night!  It was a short set but was so fun to see live music again - and an amazing bass player!

Cameron Welcome to Grace Video!

 Cameron was asked to film a welcome video for the church.  It's a video that is played at the beginning of the services each week.  He did a great job!

Yearbook Pick-up and Plant Delivery

Ashton and I went up to the high school this week to pick up his yearbook and were able to have his teachers sign it.  We also delivered some plants to thank them for all their help this school year.  

Cameron joined us to say goodbye to our band director, Mr. Whitt.  His replacement, Bob Grigas (who has been assistant band director and our private drum teacher) were there to sign the yearbook and get a picture. 

Sophomore year is officially over!  Hello, summer!
