Cameron and Ashton had another great week of band camp! This week they fine-tuned the opener, started learning the ballad and worked on the fight song, the alma mater and pep tunes. A highlight could be the boys winning twin day by dressing in their green band shirts and getting to pie two of their band mates!

Cameron's senior pics are in! He was so excited to finally see them. I love how they show so many different sides of him!
Both boys survived their first week of band camp! Cameron's been outside every morning and then inside for afternoon rehearsals and Ashton has been inside almost all week! Being in the pit (or front ensemble) means he doesn't need to practice marching or learn the formations on the field. It's a pretty sweet deal for a freshman! This week things are taken up a notch with everyone outside every morning and a parent preview of the music on Friday afternoon.

Ethan, Derrik and I were able to get tickets with some friends to see Into the Woods at the Hollywood Bowl! Such a fun show and lots of great music. It reminded me of how many times Kristin, Mom and I watched it. A great night!
It's official! The certificate came in the mail this week and we're so happy that he's accomplished it!
Cameron and Ashton picked up their high school paperwork today! Now to fill it all out so they can officially register for classes in a few weeks. Wow!

| Funny story - I forgot to ask the bakery to add decoration and picked up a very empty cake for the celebration. I quickly made some buttercream frosting and added my own "flowers!" Not too bad! |
Cameron had his senior photo shoot last night at our church. It's getting real - that he's really a senior this year! Stay tuned for photo choices!
We took Ethan to dinner this week to celebrate his completion of his Recording Connection program! We're waiting on the certificate in the mail, but we decided to celebrate early. Now the goal is to get connected with a studio for a job! He's done great work and has totally impressed his teachers with his abilities. We're very proud of him!
