Homecoming Pep Rally and Football Game

Our first band event was homecoming!  The boys participated in the school-wide rally and played a bit at the homecoming football game.  They won't officially wear their uniforms until the game in two weeks.  Here comes band season!

Classroom Updates

I've moved classrooms (again) and decided to do some updates to make the space better.  I asked Derrik and Dad Hubbard to help me create a ukulele wall so I can mount them on the wall instead of using floor space to store them.  Derrik managed most of the sanding and painting, while Dad Hubbard helped us get them secured onto the wall.

Another update is keyboard covers!  I bought some on ebay and had my sewing neighbor, Ami, help me get them to fit correctly.  She also added Cricut numbers on them!  They will be so nice compared to the blankets I used for years.

My final project is to get the table skirt Mom made to secure to the tables!  I hope to finish that off this week!  So fun to decorate!

Labor Day Mall trip

We spent labor day by taking a trip to the mall!  Cameron had some birthday money to spend and we walked around and looked.  It was fun!

Who wants a picture of Cameron?

Here are the proofs from Cameron's senior pictures.  Please email me or text me the one(s) you like best and I'll get you a copy.  I've already made my collage, have several 5x7's - now let me know what you want!

Cameron Birthday Party

Cameron invited some of his friends to the park for a great night of soccer, pizza and cupcakes!  It was so much fun!

Cameron's 18th Birthday!

He's 18!  Where did the time ago?  He had a great birthday with presents!

Ethan and Grandpa Duet

Ethan and Grandpa had a jam session!  Grandpa on his euphonium and Ethan on bass.  It sounds pretty good!

Back-to-School 2019

Cameron and Ashton have completed their first week of school!  Everyone is happy and doing well!

Saugus High School Freshman

Ashton is officially enrolled in high school.  We picked up books, got an id card and then had some time after the preview to walk around campus to find his classes.  It's happening!

Marching Band Parent Preview

Parent Preview was a success!  We're proud to have two marching Centurions!

Band Camp Week 2

Cameron and Ashton had another great week of band camp!  This week they fine-tuned the opener, started learning the ballad and worked on the fight song, the alma mater and pep tunes.  A highlight could be the boys winning twin day by dressing in their green band shirts and getting to pie two of their band mates!
