Birthday Celebrations

 We had a family dinner out, yummy cookies at Crumbl and I got a beautiful print of one of our photos from Hawaii!  Our day trip to Oxnard has been postponed since Derrik was sick.  It was a fun day!

Mother's Day 2022

 We had a lovely Mother's Day celebrating both Mom Hubbard and I!  We made a nice lunch and ate outside.  I got a sweet card from my guys and my sons gave me a new throw blanket for the couch!  

Back to Filming!

I have finished off my in-person classroom visits for the 2021-22 school year!  For May and June, I will be recording new content for next year.  I have both new Patriotic and Holiday units planned.  Derrik will be my camera man this time since Cameron has been so busy.  We've asked Cameron to be our producer.  

Ashton's "About Me" speech

This week Ashton completed his "About Me" speech for his Work Prep class.  He had to create a poster with pictures, memorize his speech and then share it with a random class on campus.  He did amazing!  He was given excellent comments from the students in the class and teachers.

LA Galaxy Game for Cameron and Derrik

Cameron and Derrik went to their first in-person Galaxy game this season!  They won 1-0 against Nashville.

We had a lovely Easter with church, music, Easter baskets and more!

Derrik's New Car and the Winterline Competition

Derrik purchased a 2019 Toyota Corolla and it arrived today via Carvana from Florida!  Pretty white and ready to go.  We took it out for a little trip to Palmdale to watch Ashton's drumline team compete in the winterline series.  We helped roll their props back to the truck after they performed.  

Lake Gregory and Lake Arrowhead

 Spring Break means a quick trip out of town!  We managed to get everyone on board for a trip to Lake Arrowhead for a night.  We stayed in Crestline and were down the hill from Lake Gregory, which we'd never visited before.  Lots of eating out and spending time by the water.  It was a beautiful trip!  

Ethan's 23rd Birthday!

 We had a great long weekend celebrating Ethan's birthday!  Derrik and I took him out shopping the day before and also got him a cookie from Crumbl.  Then his special day began with banana pancakes and a new iPhone!  We all went to dinner that night and Brisa joined us.  He and Brisa went to Disneyland on Saturday and then we finished things off with another birthday meal and celebration with the Grandparents.  Happy Birthday, E!
