Hubbard Vacation: Stopover in Denver July 11th

We woke up the next day and headed to the airport.  We met with Trent and three of the kids at the Denver airport for a meal and hanging out until our flight to Kansas.

Hubbard Vacation: Las Vegas July 10

We started our trip by renting a car and driving to Las Vegas for a concert.  The boys had wanted to see Switchfoot and NeedtoBreathe in concert together and this was their chance.  Ashton and I enjoyed the sites inside the hotel.

Fourth of July 2015

We attended a Galaxy game to celebrate the 4th of July.  We had upgraded seats and then found out the newest player on loan from England, Steven Gerrard, was sitting behind us.  We then were treated to an amazing fireworks show!

Jenga Match

Ethan has the Jenga game app on his phone and loves it.  We decided  to pull out and play the actual game.

Painting fun

I took the boys in for painting last week.  They commented on how relaxing it is!

Cameron soccer video

Cameron had a funny moment at his soccer game last week.  To protect the new glasses, he removes them just in time to do a header!

Tech Team at church

Ethan and Cameron are volunteering on the tech team at church.  I didn't get a picture of Ethan but his job on his first weekend was running the slides during the singing.  Cameron was in charge of the lights during the service he worked at.  He shared a picture of him working and his new shirt!

New Glasses

Before and after shots of Cameron and Ashton showing off their new glasses!

Enjoying a snack while Cameron is at his clarinet lesson.

Galaxy Game #30

Derrik and Cameron attended their 30th home Galaxy game this week.  A 5-0 win against the Portland Timbers made the evening perfect!

Summer Ice Skating

Cameron and Ashton went ice skating this week at the rink's Frozen themed night.  We went with our neighbors and Cameron had a few friends there.  A nice and cold option on a hot day!

Summer Adventure at GBC

We had a great week at Summer Adventure at church.  Ashton and Grandma were in 5th grade, Cameron worked in outdoor rec (with lots of water) and I worked in crafts.  We had so much fun!

Happy Father's Day 2015

We had a very warm Father's Day by attending soccer games for Cameron and Ashton.  Both boys played well and we were all pretty sticky after two hours in the sun.  We then took the Hubbards with us to Applebee's to celebrate Father's Day!

We Made It! Summer's Here!

Ashton and I wrapped up our school year last week!  We celebrated by swimming with some friends.  Cameron spent his week off helping me take my classroom a part to get the room ready for break.

Tearing off the last ring from our school chain!

Dance Festival for Ashton

Ashton performed in his 5th dance performance this morning.  The 4th grade did a cute square dance!

I caught a little of their practice yesterday on video.

Cameron Conference

Cameron held a student lead conference for us this week on his progress this semester.  He shared the projects he's been working on and then we grade him on his work.  He's had a great year!

The 8th Graders are here!
