Laundry Day

The boys took a turn doing their own laundry last weekend.  I'm hoping it will become a regular event around here.  Ashton didn't actually do his laundry but did fold it and put it away.  I made a folding guide to help him.

Winter Formal 2016

Ethan attended winter formal this year with his girlfriend, Brisa.  He had a lot of fun this year!  It's great to see him enjoying these moments in high school.  And looking so grown up and handsome!

 

 

Saugus Got Talent Competition 2016

Ethan and some of his band friends entered in the high school talent show.  They performed a song called, "Holly" by Nick Waterhouse.  Ethan played electric guitar and backup vocals.  They did a great job and were up against some tough competition.  We're proud of him!

Derrik, Ethan, Cameron and I went to a Clipper game on MLK Jr evening.  Since Ashton wasn't really interested, we brought one of Cameron's friends along.  It was a fun game and ended our 3 day weekend nicely!

I took Ashton out to a movie over the 3-day weekend and then to the library.  It sure is fun to spend time one-on-one with my boys!

Cameron indoor soccer championship!

Cameron and his indoor soccer team won their age level championship yesterday!  He and his teammates worked hard against the 2nd place team for this victory.

Happy Birthday, Ashton!

Our Ashton turned 11 last Saturday!  Don't even ask me how that's possible.  We started celebrating on Friday by taking him and our neighbors girls to see the Chipmunk movie.  Saturday was spent banana pancakes, opening presents, jumping on trampolines, more presents, steak dinner and lots of family!  He had a great birthday!

 

 

 

Drum Lesson with Ethan

One of the Christmas presents Ashton got from Ethan were some drum lessons.  Ashton cashed in on those these week and had his first private lesson!

#19 Anniversary

Derrik and I celebrated #19 this week!  Yay!  We took a quick trip to Long Beach for a getaway.  We went out to eat, stayed at a bed and breakfast, visited the Queen Mary and took a Gondola ride! 

 

 
 

 

 

 

 

Happy New Years!

We invited the grandparents over for our new years celebration.  I had planned some activities for us to do during the evening.  Each activity was tucked inside a balloon that the boys had to pop!  It made for a very fun and exciting evening.
