Wii Love It!

Here ya go, Papa Ron! We have really enjoyed playing with the Wii that he got us. The boys have kept busy with it this week (only after homework is done, of course!) and have learned a bit more about golf, tennis, baseball and bowling. Both Derrik and I have been on as well, both complaining afterward of a soreness from the workout! LOL! We're getting old, I guess.....Thanks Dad for the gift! We love it!

Papa Ron comes for a visit

It was so nice to have Papa Ron here! I think he had a nice, WARM break from the Kansas cold. He fixed the ice maker, wrestled with Cameron,listened to Ethan tell stories, and watched Ashton dance. We had a great time catching up and he even got to come and watch me teach!

Taking Care of a Baby

The older boys came with me to work this morning to help me and my boss work on the studio and do some repairs. She has a 4 month old boy named Jack. The boys were a great help and loved taking care of him!

We celebrated Ashton this week! It's so hard to believe he's three already. He seemed to follow what all the excitement was about and had fun unwrapping things. He got lots of nice things, including a new tricycle from the grandparents. We also got him a sand and water table which he loves to get wet with.

Here are just a few more photos from Christmas morning. Sorry for the quality! My new camera arrives this week and then they will look better. The boys start school on Monday and we are ready to get back on schedule. I have one more week of vacation and prep before I start teaching again.

Christmas 2007

We had a nice Christmas! The boys were thrilled with their "new" bikes (Ethan got an upgrade and Cameron got Ethan's old one) and all the cool presents! We went to Hesperia Christmas day and had a nice time there. Lots of food! We came back yesterday so I could teach a make-up class today. My vacation officially starts now!

I'm dreaming of a White Christmas

Okay, so I don't really miss all the cold weather and snow, ice and other yuck that happens this time of year. But it does bring back memories.....I included Bing Crosby's version of "White Christmas" on my music box.

Each of the boys had a musical week! I am taking a music class through work with Ashton, and both Ethan and Cameron had their Christmas church choir performances. I am directing Ethan's choir this year (that's my head and arms directing.) That wraps up some the holiday hubbub for us. We've got class parties this week and then we'll be done!

A Day at the Park

We took the kids to the park today. Cameron had a "concert" planned with Ethan. They needed the toy guitar and keyboard. The concert lasted maybe five minutes as it was cold and windy. I got a few good shots of the boys playing in the leaves.

Broken Camera

This is a photo of Ashton on his little scooter. Hmmm? What's that? Can't quite make it out? Well, it was really just a matter of time. My camera (that I got last Christmas) has officially been dropped too many times. It has had several come-backs through the year and we are glad it lasted as long as it did. I have put that on the top of my Christmas list this year and am already looking at what kind I want!

The Hubbard Thanksgiving

We had a nice Thanksgiving! We started the morning with breakfast outside and then went to a park for a scavenger hunt that I put together on the playground. The boys had fun! We came home and put together our thanksgiving lunch of turkey, stuffing, etc. We took naps and then went to the Bee movie to finish off the day. Lots to be thankful for this year - most of all - a happy and healthy family.
