TJ the Bulldog

Our school mascot is a bulldog and our statue was stolen a few years ago.  A generous family donated  a new one to us last week!  We're glad to have TJ back!

Hubbard Uncles in CA

Uncles Don and Dean came to California for a visit this week.  We went to dinner together last night and plan to see them a few more times before they head to CO to see Trent and family.  It was so fun to see them!

Family Football Game

Derrik and I both worked security at the football game Friday night so we brought the younger boys along for the fun.  Security involved guarding the seating area where the marching band sits so that no one can take their seats or their instruments during the game.  It was homecoming so there was no half-time show, but we did enjoy hearing the band play throughout the game!

My new Saugus band mama shirt!

Pirate Day

Ashton celebrated Pirate Day on Friday!  Aarrgg!

Band Fundaiser

Ethan and the marching band are going on a trip in the Spring.  They are traveling to San Francisco and Sacramento.  Saturday's fundraiser was a bowl-a-thon!  If you're interested in donating, let me know.  There are more fundraisers to come!

Soccer - here we go!

The soccer season has started for Cameron!  He's a part of the Dynasty team and is playing his first season on a U14 team.  He is playing goalie this year for the first time and is having a blast!

Action shot #2

Hello early Saturday morning games!

Derrik and Cam before today's game

In position, ready to go!

ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Here's the boys doing their Ice Bucket Challenge!

Visit from Blaze

One of the Colorado Hubbards came our way last week!  Blaze is a part of a traveling hockey team that was playing in a tournament in Anaheim.  Grandma and Grandpa grabbed him and we had dinner together.  It was fun seeing him again!

Not gonna leave this guy out!

This cutie has been very patient with our new schedule!  He had school pictures last week and I got a quick pic after school.  Fourth grade is hard, but we're gonna get it!

More Band stuff!

I hung out at the football game last Friday working band security (I have a badge and I know how to use it).  I secure seating for the band so no one sits in their section.  The bonus is I got to listen to the band perform at half and listen to their stand shorts.  Fun night!!

I uploaded two videos onto Youtube:

Ethan Performance 1 half-time show, movement 1.  Sorry the shot is so shaky.  Ethan is on the far left in front of the bass drum.

Ethan Performance 2 half-time show, movement 2.  He plays the triangle for part of the time.  The second half always gives me goose bumps!  Please excuse the noisy cheer section next to us.

Galaxy Game

We headed to a galaxy game over Labor Day weekend!

Cameron's Clarinet

Cameron has been hard at work learning the clarinet in band at school.  He is divided - loves soccer and loves being involved in band!

Watching a soccer game and practicing at the same time.  ?

Ethan Band Fun!

Marching band season is in full swing!  The band performed at the football season kick-off and then tonight he had his first field experience - full uniform and all!  He's having fun and we're so happy for him!

Cameron's 13th Birthday

Our Cameron became a teenager last week!

He had a great birthday - went to school for the day but not before opening a few gifts.  After school I took the three boys out for ice cream and then he opened a few more gifts.

He decided he wanted to go to his soccer practice so we brought dinner to the soccer field and watched him play.

After practice, we went out for ice cream (again - hey, it's a birthday)!  We all had fun celebrating him!

7th Grade Registration

NOTE:  I found this post that I made a few weeks back.  Cameron's doing great in JH and learning how it's done.

Cameron is all registered for JHschool!  So excited for him!

Borrowed this one from Instagram - new
gear from registration

Ashton was along for the ride - taking notes for
when its his turn!

Ethan on the Bass

Ethan got to fill in at SWARM last weekend!  He did awesome and it was so fun to have him join the band!

An early Birthday party for Cameron!

We held an early birthday party for Cameron so his friends could be together one last time before junior high.

First Days of School 2014-2015

The Hubbard boys are back at it again!  Ashton started first, Cameron and Ethan the next day.  Everybody is happy! I got more photos of Ashton than the other two - obviously.

Cameron came on campus to visit his old school.
Ashton and his friend, Brett.

A mom sent this to me!  Looks like a movie musical cover!

Last Beach Trip

We left town for an overnight trip to the beach in Ventura before school starts!

Outdoor Band Concert

Derrik's Dad has been playing the euphonium for the Santa Clarita Community Band.  They had a concert last weekend and we all went!  Fun music and great weather for a concert!
