Thanksgiving 2014

We had a fun Thanksgiving!  We went to the Hubbards and enjoyed a fabulous meal and then played a few games while we let some snooze off their calories.  Then we headed out to the movies!



 

 

While waiting for the big boys to get out of their movie, Mom Hubbard, Ashton and I walked down to the mall and walked around.

More Band Photos

Some photos from the last football game the marching band performed at and the championship competition from yesterday.  So proud of this boy for all his hard work!

 

They came into championships in 12th place, left the competition in 8th.  They came back!  I drove down with Grandma and Grandpa and Sandra's cousin, Coy from Minnesota.  We had so much fun!

Movie Date

Ashton had a day off school last week so he and I went to see Big Hero 6 at the theater!  He loved the movie!

Ice Skating

Ashton had a play date with our neighbor across the street at the ice rink.  He's gotten really good on ice skates!  I did teach him the danger position of putting your hands down in front of you as you fall!

Derrik and Cameron attended the LA Galaxy game on Sunday night.  It was a big game, one that determined whether the season was over for the galaxy or not.  The Galaxy won again Real Salt Lake 5-0!  There is a website you can go to that snaps photos of the crowd during the game.  Derrik logged into it and sent me this:

Who's Taller?

Just another day at the Hubbard house.  Who's taller?  It's usually between Ethan and Cameron, but Ashton wanted to jump in the picture as well.  Ethan is currently the tallest by maybe less than an inch?  They are growing way too fast!

 

Final Mile Challenge

Ashton and I participated in the Final Mile Challenge that our school did.  We were required to log 25 miles prior to race day (running at recess, walking during Cameron's soccer practice, etc).  Then on race day, we had to run/walk 1.2 miles to the finish line and then got medals! 

Halloween Happenings 2014

Carving, costumes and trunk-or-treating!  We spent Halloween up at our church being one of the cars in the trunk-or-treat area.  The older boys passed out candy and Ashton and I walked around collecting goodies.

High School/College T-Shirt Blanket

Mom sent my high school/college t-shirt blanket!  I can't even imagine how many hours she put into it!  So many memories.....I spread it out in the living room and walked each of the boys around it, sharing memories.  They weren't as impressed, but still interested.  Thank you, Mom!  I love it!

The boys and I had a few days off last week!  We didn't end up taking a trip since Derrik had to work.  I took them to the mall to do some painting, visit the massage chairs and then out to lunch with Derrik.

Cameron and his Beginning Band class performed a Halloween concert for us last week.  So proud of how well he's doing!

We joined the band at the pumpkin patch on Saturday.  We had fun watching the band and picking out pumpkins and riding the train!  No band post is complete without a video, so there are 2 at the end.  :)
