I participated in my very first Trinity Christmas concert as a teacher! It was so much fun and so amazing! Over 300 kids participated and they did great! I invited my family to come and see the finished project. Everyone was impressed!

We were given an old video from Derrik's cousin, Brian. It had a segment with Ethan and Cameron doing dances that were too funny not to share! It takes me back to when they were small and crazy! Enjoy!
Cameron has been working hard all week serving the tech department at church on the yearly holiday concerts. He operated one of the camera's and controlled shots throughout the performance. We were able to go last night and watch. It was great and he did a great job!
Ashton performed in his first holiday band concert on Tuesday night! He played several percussion instruments during the performance: the snare drum, the bass drum and the triangle. Cameron couldn't come because of a church rehearsal. He did a great job and we are very proud of him!
We gathered together to celebrate Dad Hubbard and his 73rd birthday early last night! We had a fabulous meal and celebrated thoroughly!
Santa Clarita Elementary held their annual Santa Breakfast yesterday and brought in snow (packed ice)! I was there leading the choir and I called Derrik and asked him to bring Ashton down to experience it! He had a blast!
We got in our holiday decorating before the crazy season starts! Christmas tree up, nativity set up, December calendar put together - DONE! The boys helped with the tree and Ashton did both the calendar and the nativity this year! He may be the best elf ever!
We celebrated Thanksgiving with the Hubbards and enjoyed loads of food! We did our yearly trip to the movies later in the evening. It was a fun and relaxing holiday!

Since I started teaching at Trinity in August, we've been working on our holiday musical. Last week, all grades 1-6 gathered together in groups to practice everything we've learned so far (8 songs). My teaching partner, Jennifer, ran the rehearsal. I got to wear my Trinity gear, support her and be a part of the school-wide photo! Our performance will be December 14th.  |

I got home just in time to help celebrate Derrik! The boys made him a nice card and he and I went to dinner out. He had great birthday and got three, THREE celebrations! One with just me, one with me and the boys and one with the parents. Here's to the best year yet!
