After mastering the pillow for Independent Living, I thought it would be a good idea to put his new sewing skills to work by repairing his soccer net. He was planning to play soccer with friends but his net has badly tangled. We tried to fix it but ended up cutting a few pieces to get it free. Cameron then stitched up the parts that were cut to get his net repaired. Yay!
We volunteered as family on Thursday at the Children's Hunger Fund by bagging and sealing granola that will be put in boxes with other food items and distributed to families in need. We had so much fun!
We celebrated Mom Hubbard on Thursday with a family dinner their house. She is LOVED!
Cameron and I took a trip to KS and had a great time checking in with family and celebrating Dad's 76th birthday! Here are some highlights:
And we have another driver! Cam passed his behind-the-wheel test and is now an official CA driver. He's very excited and has even taken several solo trips in the car. Wow!
Cameron and I have been working out faithfully for the last three weeks and decided to take a trip outdoors for the last workout of the week. We walked just over 2 miles to the grocery store! Just needed to pick up one thing and then had Derrik pick us up! :) Fun adventure! |

Summer Adventure/VBS/Bible School happened this week at church! This was Ashton's first time helping and Cameron's fourth year. Cameron did outdoor rec and Ashton and I helped with crafts. We had such a busy week but had so much fun!

Ethan and Cameron are big fans of drum corps. They are professional marching bands that perform amazing shows and compete with other bands from around the country, such as the Santa Clara Vanguard, and The Blue Devils!. When there was a show close, they jumped at the chance to go. We even let them go alone! Oooooo! They came home very late, but had a great time! I grabbed some of Cam's instagram photos to share.
