It can be a rare thing to find both Cameron and Ashton reading actual books!  I got photos to prove it!

Cameron honor roll

What a great way to start second semester of his junior year!  Cameron received a letter this week saying he was on the honor roll at school with a 3.75 GPA or higher.  Yay, Cam!

Rollo's Birthday trip

Mom and Dad Hubbard, Cameron and I drove down to Fontana to see Rollo on his 83rd birthday.  We had a nice meal, spent time with their son, James and his family.  It was great to see him again!

Ashton's 14!!

For the first time that we know of, Ashton DID NOT have school on his birthday!  He got to stay at home, open presents and have a fun day with no school!  Wow!  We cannot believe that he's 14!  He had a great day, everyone!  Thanks for the love!

Ashton's Birthday Part 1

We celebrated Ashton with the Grandparents on the eve of his birthday!  Chicken, mashed potatoes, rolls, salad and yummy birthday cake!

Magic Mountain Day!

We scored some free tickets to Magic Mountain for the day!  The only bad part was - it was scheduled to rain.all.day.  So, we live close enough that we figured it was worth the wet to go and spend some time together.  We invited our neighbor (and Ashton's friend) Brooklyn since she had a season pass.  We did a few rides before the rain got heavy and rides shut down.  It was fun!

New Years Eve!

We had a quiet New Years Eve at home.  Ethan came home from work and joined us in cheese fondue and then played nertz with us for awhile and then headed out to spend New Years eve with Brisa and her family.  We played more games, had chocolate fondue, watched Cameron and Ashton play soccer on xbox and then tuned into live coverage on tv.   Happy New Year, everyone!

Anniversary #22

It's crazy to think we've been married for half of our lives (getting married at age 22 + 22 year anniversary = 44 years old in age)!  We celebrated by going out to Cheesecake Factory and then to see Wicked at the Pantages theater in Hollywood.  We sat just up from the orchestra and enjoyed amazing seats.

Christmas Day 2018

Christmas started around 6:30 am!  The boys opened everything in record time and Derrik and I sat on the couch taking it all in.  We enjoyed monkey bread, a turkey-ham dinner and then took a drive to see Christmas lights.  We had a great Christmas!
