Ashton invited a few friends from his dinner group to go and play putt-putt golf and arcade games!  He's enjoying hanging out with them.

While driving to the preschool in Memphis, I suddenly felt something on my arm.  Evidently as I sat outside that morning I acquired a passenger on my shirt and during the drive he decided to take a trip down my arm.  Needing to concentrate on the road and not panic, I carefully maneuvered him to the steering wheel and round and round he went.  Once we safely arrived at school, I took him out of the car and into the grass.  He (and I) had quite an adventure!

Grandma Bonnie did it again - another amazing quilt of memories!  Ashton's high school quilt is finished and ready to use!  Thank you, mom, for preserving these memories for him!

First Week and Exam Results!

I survived my first week of Kindermusik classes!  I also attended my first day at a preschool where I see nine classes over three hours (15-20 min each).  Whew!  A few of the studio teachers got a photo together.  Then Friday, I got all three exam result emails within minutes of each other.  Passed and Accredited!  Feels good!

Germantown Festival

 We attended the longest running festival in Germantown!  It was the 51st anniversary of the Germantown festival and it was so fun!  There were craft vendors, live music, carnival rides, food trucks and our favorite, the annual Weenies Dachshund race!

Last Exam Finished!

 I finally finished my last Kindermusik exam to get licensed and I'm so happy that's over!

Exam 1 and 2 complete!

I have Kindermusik exam videos 1 and 2 complete!  These exams require that I am videotaped teaching (no pressure there, haha) specific lessons to specific age groups.  I have one exam left on 9/5.  Classes begin at the studio on 9/11!
